Event Manager Application:
Interested in joining our team as an event manager? We send out several trailers every day, and each one has an event manager at the helm. They drive the trailers to and from events, ensure that the events go smoothly, communicate effectively with customers, and handle the animals with care. There are a plethora of skills involved in successfully operating one of our petting zoo trailers, and here is a list of the ones that are expected on the job:
Qualifications:
- >1 year experience working with animals (this is a must. Almost any work experience involving animals applies, such as working at a kennel, farm or ranch work, etc.)
- Must be 18+ and have a valid driver’s license.
- You must be able to walk >10 miles per day, or be able to be on your feet the entire day.
- Ability to manage a team of assistants through unknown circumstances.
- Be able to communicate pleasantly with the customers and children.
- Ability to manage time (we have a tight schedule, and our customers expect us to be on-time)
Strongly preferred skills:
- Ability to drive and easily back up a truck and trailer.
