Blaze came to us late fall of 2020. He was not trained for riding yet, but we loved his personality and hoped that he would do well for pony rides.

He has a very calm and reasonable temperament and is happy to work with you. He has a great attitude and like to be out at events. The one thing that he really doesn’t like is a flying beach ball. We had a child throw a beach ball at him and it hit him in the belly when he was two. He has been very fearful of beach balls since this incident. We’ve been slowing working through this fear at home, but for now we ask that there be no throwing of beach balls or balloons near Blaze at events.

Blaze worked on the 4th of July his 3 year old year. He handled the excitement very well and we are very excited to have him with us.

Blaze can have a sensitive stomach, so he gets a special diet to prevent ulcers. He also gets a special medicine from time to time to help his stomach stay happy and healthy. While Blaze loves treats, we ask that you ALWAYS approve any food with a handler and ask for help feeding. It is important that we know what Blaze is getting to eat.

Blaze loves attention and he is one of our pony rides horses that would love to be hugged, pet and loved on. He’s not picky. He’ll take any love that he can get 🙂
