Event Assistant Application:

Interested in joining our team as an event assistant? We send out several trailers every day, and each one requires event assistants to ensure that the events run smoothly. They work under the event managers, setting up the petting zoo area and walking the ponies, handling the animals with care, and interfacing with the customers and children. There are a plethora of skills involved in assisting with one of our petting zoo trailers, and here is a list of the ones that are expected on the job:

Qualifications:

• You must be able to walk >10 miles per day, or be able to be on your feet the entire day.
• Be able to communicate pleasantly with the customers and children
• Ability to manage time (we have a tight schedule, and our customers expect us to be on-time)

Strongly preferred skills:

• >1 year experience working with animals (anything involving animals applies, such as working at a kennel, farm or ranch work, etc.)
