Gingersnap is on lease from Hope Saldana. She is amazing for pony rides, but doesn’t really like the petting zoo. She has always preferred to be “in motion” and is happiest walking around with the kiddos. She is very confident in herself and stays calm under pressure. She doesn’t tend to spook and can be very brave. She is one of our top choices if we need to go indoors, or in any strange situation where we are unsure what the horses will think. Ginger just thinks she’s the best and isn’t worried about anything.

Ginger was born in Wentzville on a farm for Miniature horses. She was originally purchased by a lesson student. She started her career as a cart pony, but her owner’s had to move to a different state. Hope loved her adorable coloring and stature and purchased her from the student, and this is where her career here began. We started taking her to events at 4 years old. She was always outgoing and happy to attend any party. While we had to work through a few training things along the way, she has really grown up the past few years!

Ginger is a very unique color, and has amazing hair. The children LOVE braiding her hair since it is so long and easy to work with. Ginger is the perfect size for younger children to ride. When we have large events with multiple ponies, we often bring her so that if the smaller children don’t want to ride a big pony, they can ride Ginger. Sometimes her smaller stature helps nervous children warm up to the idea of a pony ride. If you are booking pony rides for a birthday party in the 1-5 age range, Ginger is a perfect choice!
